What kinds of sharks swim off of the Galveston seawall? - why do sharks swim with their fins out of the water

Today I was on the beach, and I never saw that also about the ends of the breakwater. Since only about 20 yards from me, I saw a spot above the end of the water. I know there are sharks, but I just want to know what Art Thank you.

I have done nothing to fish in Galveston, however, have discovered from the docks of Port Aransas, dozens of Bonnethead, Punta Negra and the Bulls. I also hung an unidentified species, the ordeal line could attract 80 pounds like nothing. I've heard big hammerhead sharks and tiger sharks Horace Caldwell Pier, where I was fishing. Galveston suggest that the species are almost identical.
